SLAA NEWSLETTER
DECEMBER 2004 / JANUARY 2005

|
PRESIDENT'S
CORNER
Julie Krull
2005 is upon us and now that the mad rush
of the Holidays is over, we can look forward to
what the year will bring. Each of us will be looking
at how we can work towards making the upcoming
year a great one.
With the start of the tourist season, St. Louis
sports and conventions and the welcoming of the
Final 4, this year will prove to be one of the
best.
To find out how to make the most of what St. Louis
and its attractions can do, join us for our Annual
Roundtable event, January 19. This halfday event
will be invaluable to your attraction as we look
at what is going on in the city. Holiday Inn South
County will be our host for the day and we?ve
got some great speakers and topics to help you
get ready for the upcoming season. Plan to join
us for the event. More information can be found
in this newsletter.
I look forward to seeing each of you at our events
and getting to know more and more of you.
Remember, we wouldn't be successful without the
success of you, our members!

THANK YOU!
Thank
you to everyone who attended this year's auction.
Almost everyone was able to take home some items
at reasonable prices and help make this year's auction
another success!
Thank you to the Tap Room for the use of their space-
it was perfect and the food selections were great.
Special thanks to Susan- it was great working with
and I hope we will be able to work together again.
Thank you to all the other board members for helping
with last-minute calls and set up. A special thank
you to my supervisor, Larry Marrs, for allowing
me to take time away from work for my committee
meetings. On a personal note, I would also like
to thank my husband Ron for helping me set up the
morning of the auction.
A very special THANK YOU to those that made
a donation. Without the items, we would not be able
to have the event, which supports our scholarship
fund. I greatly appreciate all that you were able
to give. Please keep this in mind for next year!
Also, if you would like to host the 2005 auction,
please let me know at (314) 770-7652.
Thanks again, Michele Miller
